Don’t be put off by the name, Murder Lane from The Dublin Liberties is a vibrant single malt whiskey! The 13 Year Old sees an initial maturation in bourbon barrels before its transferred to Hungarian Tokaj wine casks for a finish, imparting a sweet and slightly syrupy flavour profile. The whiskey is in fact named after an unmarked alley in Dublin, though with that nickname we perhaps wouldn’t recommend visiting…

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
