Founded in 1893, Cantina Terlano has grown into one of theleading wine growers’ cooperatives in the Alto Adige regionof northeastern Italy. Located in the Dolomite Mountains inthe foothills of the Alps, Terlano’s distinctive location andextraordinary terroir are key to the development of theirstunning, world-renowned wines. With a currentmembership of 143 growers farming a total area of 165hectares, Terlano insures the highest standards of quality bycompensating growers for the quality of their grapes not thequantity. The emphasis in the vineyard is on reducing yield infavor of producing more concentrated fruit.
