Specially blended by the masters at Suntory, the Suntory Blended Whisky Shinanoya is a special release that Suntory made for the Shinanoya department store. This particular whisky is called “Wa-Kyo” and only 539 bottles were released for this occasion. The Wa-Kyo is a blended whisky that was created by Suntory’s master blender, Shinji Fukuyo, so you’ll receive the best of the best of blended drams from Suntory. To truly make this a unique whisky bottle, Shinanoya requested the Japanese calligraphy you see on the label of the bottle to be created by the famous Japanese calligrapher, Master Shoshu.

Distillery Information

Suntory is the oldest whisky making company in Japan. Its origins stretch back to a small shop, started in 1899 by Torii Shinjiro, which specialized in selling imported wines. Today, it is the country’s largest and most recognizable producer of quality whisky.
