Another legendary bottling in the always-impressive Prestonfield, this 20 year old Springbank 1967 received 93-94 points from Malt Maniac Serge Valentin on Whiskyfun and despite being from a multi-cask batch is now extremely difficult to find, having been bottled in the late 1980s.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: Long and full of interesting flavors.

Distillery Information

The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
