The most highly-anticipated release in the Ballechin range, this Scotch is aged for 11 years in a first-fill Manzanilla sherry butt and bottled at natural cask strength. The Manzanilla Sherry Butt has been aged for 18 years and previously used to mature Glenmorangie before being shipped to Signatory’s distillery in the Scottish Highlands. This particular cask of Scotch is made from 100% malted barley and is non-chill filtered, which is a technique that preserves the flavor and body of the whisky.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
