- WHY:Siembra Azul is the import label for Tequila aficionado and advocate David Suro, contracted from one of Jalisco’s best distilleries: NOM 1414 Feliciano Vivanco. Bursting with sweet fruit and baking spices, Siembra Azul is a celebration of how delicious Tequila can be when its made with mature agave and distilled without intervention or the additional of artificial flavors and sweeteners.
- HOW:The Vivancos are famous for both their incredible Tequila and their unorthodox practices. During fermentation, classical music is blasted into the distillery to help stimulate the native yeast with the vibrations. Only mature agave piñas are usedfor fermentation and ultimately distillation, and the resulting Tequila is an expression of that quality.
- WHAT:Located in Arandas, Jalisco, NOM 1414 Feliciano Vivanco is one of the premier Highland distilleries for Tequila distillation. The family makes Tequila for a number of other fantastic labels including ArteNOM and Gran Dovejo.
