The Louis Bovet Reserve pays homage to the co-founder’s grandfather, who was dedicated in his time to home winemaking. Thomas Rivers Brown consulted on this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, stemming from a near-perfect growing season in Round Pond’s Rutherford estate. An expressive nose of crushed raspberry with cream and sarsaparilla makes for an inviting opening. Acidity and tannins are on point, conspiring with rich fruit to build a beautiful, balanced Cab. The wine is a showcase of terroir, with unmistakable Rutherford Dust holding through the lingering finish.
