Description
Cihuatán Alux is a limited edition rum inspired by the Mayan legend of the Aluxes, guardian gods of all crop fields.
According to Mayan lore, the Aluxes lived within corn and cacao fields, as these were regarded as the most sacred crops. At the beginning of every harvest, the Mayan people would hold an enchanting feast as a thank you to the Aluxes for their protection.
TASTING NOTES
Inspired by the delicious treats that the Maya would offer the Aluxes, our Master Blender has crafted this rum as our gift for these gods.
