Foggy Burl is a 100% malted barley mash bill comprised of over seven different types of malt. Redwood Empire began distilling in 2015, and to this day, no batch is alike. This scarce grain-to-glass release is a testament to the company’s passion, patience and pioneering spirit.
Off the bank of Redwood Creek near Tall Trees Grove is the Coastal Redwood Foggy Burl rising 347 feet from the ancient forest floor. Among some of the tallest ever measured, this determined tree collects 40% of its water from the fog each year for sustainable independence.
