Size: 700ML
Proof: 122.6 (61.3% ABV)
Age: 6 Year
Origin: Scotland
Distillery: Bruichladdich Distillery
Distilled in 2013, this 6-year-old from Bruichladdich’s Octomore range is part of the Dialogos series that aims to dispel the idea that Octomore is all about its PPM. Distilled from Concerto barley grown in one single field on Islay, and peated to 114ppm (still super heavily peated but nowhere near the heights of past Octomore releases), this edition has been matured in first fill American whiskey casks from Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and Jack Daniel’s.
Distillery Information
Bruichladdich Distillery is a distillery on the Rhinns of the isle of Islay in Scotland. The distillery produces mainly single malt Scotch whisky, but has also offered artisanal gin. It is owned by Rémy Cointreau and is one of eight working distilleries on the island.
