Islay and Barbados meet in the fabulous XO rum from Mount Gay, dubbed The Peat Smoke Expression! After initially maturing in American oak barrels, the blend of pot and column still rum was finished in six months in casks which previously held peated Port Charlotte whisky from the fabulous Bruichladdich distillery! A limited 6,120 bottles were released at a healthy 57% ABV, balancing tropical fruit alongside maritime smoke from the cask.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.

Finish: Clean,crisp and smooth.
