Description
Little Ark is a crisp, mineral-driven white wine from the Peloponnese, Greece, showcasing a 50/50 blend of Malagousia and Assyrtiko. Light-bodied and dry, it captures the freshness and aromatic intensity of the mountainous terroir.
Meet the producer
Produced by Panos Lantides at the Lantides Estate in Nemea, the estate spans 25 hectares across the Skoteini Valley at altitudes between 500–650 meters. Founded in 1993 by Panikos Lantides, who trained in oenology in Montpellier and Bordeaux, the family winery combines traditional Greek varietals with modern winemaking techniques to create fresh, terroir-driven wines.
Production
Grapes are hand-harvested from high-altitude plots on Scotini Mountain at 700m, ensuring bright acidity and freshness. The wine is vinified unoaked in stainless steel tanks to preserve its aromatic purity and mineral character.
Tasting notes
Brilliant straw with greenish hues, the nose reveals exotic fruit, melon, lemon, green pepper, jasmine, and orange. The palate is vibrant, with peach and green apple flavours and a lingering, lemony finish.
Food match
Ideal with Greek salads, shellfish, and grilled white fish. Serve chilled at 8–10°C.
