Description
La Huida is bright, crisp, and aromatic, this Albariño from the Salnés Valley delivers exceptional freshness and elegance. A vibrant Spanish white wine that showcases the region’s renowned grape variety, it offers stone fruit and citrus notes with a subtle floral lift.
Meet the producer
Founded in 1988 by a group of growers in the Salnés Valley, Condes de Albarei is dedicated to producing top-quality Albariño wines. The estate focuses on sustainable viticulture and careful grape selection, highlighting the unique terroir of Rías Baixas.
Production
Grapes are sourced from pergola-trained Albariño vines grown in sandy soils of the Salnés Valley. Hand-harvested in 20kg crates and further sorted at the winery, the destemmed grapes are gently pressed. Fermentation occurs over approximately 15 days at 16–18ºC using wild yeasts, followed by partial malolactic fermentation, also driven by naturally occurring yeasts.
Tasting notes
Fresh and bright with aromas of stone fruit and orange blossom. The palate offers peach and lightly tropical fruit, tangerine notes, and lively citrus zest. Dry, crisp, and mouthwatering on the finish, this Albariño is a vibrant expression of Rías Baixas.
Food match
