This cask finish whiskey is made by carefully blending selected lots of 6-10 year straight bourbon and straight rye whiskeys from High West Distillery® in Park City, Utah. The resulting whiskey blend is then finished in second-use Oloroso Sherry barrels for 11 months, creating a one-of-a-kind whiskey with incredible balance, complexity, and depth of the flavor. Bold on the palate, this Oloroso cask whiskey reveals flavors of blood orange reduction, cherry compote, and caramel shortbread drizzled with dark chocolate. It also offers hints of flaky puff pastry, tobacco lounge, and cinnamon bark, and notes of spiced baked apples and crème anglaise on the finish.
