Nose: Rich Sherry influences with beeswax polish, orange peel and pear aromas initially. These are complimented by hints of cinnamon, ginger and sweet vanilla which linger in the background. Developing further, underlying liquorice and menthol notes add to the complexity. Palate: Initially soft with a slight bitterness, grapefruit, bitter orange and dark chocolate. These are balanced with refreshing elements of lime and watermelon. Underlying lingering traces of charred oak and burnt sugar remain. Finish: The finish is long, softly balanced with a trace of smoke.
