Description
This is a single malt that bursts with aromas of dark fruit, honey, and vanilla, leading into layers of marzipan, cinnamon and gentle spice, with a long, warming finish. The complexity of character is helped along by a solera system common in the maturation of sherry. Here whisky aged in bourbon, sherry and new oak casks is married in a large wooden vat that’s never emptied, only ever topped up. A consistent and immensely popular Speyside single malt.
