Named after the ancient cliffs, or “Klippe,” that once towered over their vineyard, the Gemischter Satz pays homage to the vineyard’s limestone soils. A blend of grapes from two distinct vineyards – one with heavy clay and mineral inclusions, the other with lighter loess – creates a vibrant wine of exceptional complexity.
