Fortaleza Anejo Tequila is a craft tequila, carefully made using traditional methods that have been passed down for over 140 years. It is aged for 18 months in American Whiskey barrels, resulting in a depth of flavor with hints of cooked agave, sweet butter, butterscotch, caramel, vanilla, citrus, dried fruit, tropical fruit, and spices like cinnamon, white pepper, cloves, and nuts. The longer aging process also imparts a warming earthiness to the tequila.
