In 2022, warm temperatures leading into harvest revealed the distinct advantage of sourcing from cooler sites, especially their own cornerstone Faust Estate Vineyard, where they were able to lower ambient temperatures and raise humidity levels by deploying the sprinkler system to help mitigate heat events. Consequently, the fruit retained vibrant acidity underlying lovely intensity, creating a wine with pinpoint balance.
