Snow Polo is a variation to the sport of kings first invented 35 years ago in what continues to be its spiritual home, San Moritz. There, every January, the Snow Polo World Cup is played on a frozen lake in front of hundreds of well-wrapped spectators, and the ponies are changed frequently to avoid them suffering from the cold temperatures. Royal Salute was created in 1953 to celebrate the coronation of HRH Queen Elizabeth II. A powerful, sophisticated and opulent blend, aged for a minimum of 21 years, this Scotch whisky is named for the tradition of the 21 Gun Salute that is fired at the Tower of London for Royal celebrations. This all white snow polo edition commemorates the sport and is the third in the Polo series.
