A marvellous 34 year old single grain from the Caledonian Distillery, independently released by Duncan Taylor for the Rare Auld series. Distilled in 1987, just one year before the distillery sadly closed its doors for good, this one certainly ticks the boxes for being both rare and old! A total of 210 bottles were drawn from this single cask.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Finish: Quite long and warm, with just a hint of smoke.
