Made using the same high-quality wheat-based mash bill as the beloved W.L. Weller Bourbon, this expression is aged for seven years in barrels specially designated as Kosher. The barrels are sold to a non-Jewish executive before Passover, in a ceremony witnessed by the cRc, and the bourbon is bottled only after the holiday—on clean, certified lines untouched by non-Kosher spirits.
Bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV), this bourbon reflects Buffalo Trace’s legendary craftsmanship while adhering to religious standards. Though not kosher for Passover, it’s a meaningful and flavorful pour available in limited annual releases.
