Farming: practicing organic, practicing sustainable
For three generations the Bastian family has been cultivating 44 acres of vines along the side of Mount Quarin, only a few miles from the Slovenian border where skin contact white wines have been made for centuries. The family focuses on sustainable farming practices operating as organically as possible in order to promote a natural lifestyle that is harmonious with its surroundings. This white blend macerates on the skins for about 90 days giving the finished wine a glowing orange hue – ‘Aransat’ is Friulian slang for ‘orange.’ Delicate and enticing aromas of
white flowers introduce a
savory palate of lemon zest and cantelope with
fresh acidity and a
lingering finish.
