Southern Napa Valley vineyards, farmed by two generations of French winemakers, resulting in a velvety, rich, and elegant drinking experience. I tend to look for older vintages among our selections, and this 2014 Cabernet Franc from Beaucanon Estate is a great way to explore fully aged wine at an affordable price. The wine still boasts a powerful nose of black fruits with hints of cocoa and toasty oak, but the mouthfeel and finish are where it truly shines. Probably very tannic in its youth, this wine has matured into a supple silkiness revealing dark earth and minerality – perfect for pairing with full-flavored cheeses and roasted meats. We did the patient aging, you do the enjoying!
