The Banfi Chianti Superiore has a deep ruby red color and an intense aroma of ripe red fruits, cherries, and spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured with a good balance of acidity and tannins. The flavors are complex and long-lasting, featuring notes of black cherry, plum, and vanilla, with a hint of leather and tobacco on the finish.
