Cask Strength, Non-chill Filtered, Natural Colour.
Nose: A lot going on here. Starting with dates, then moving onto mature oak.
Comforting- like a worn leather recliner. This is undoubtedly a complex whiskey.
Palate: Explosion of flavours. Dark chocolate, side-by-side with an espresso. Don’t forget the fruits though, are you tasting fresh orange and some candies? How about the dates that you were chewing earlier…with a drop of water, turn this into a milk chocolate sensation.
Finish: Long dark chocolate, herbs, and a little ash surfaces.
