Producer Information
Fattoria del Pino was born in the year 2000 in the Montosoli area on the northern slope of the Montalcino hill. This young reality, managed entirely by Jessica Pellegrini, with passion and dedication is committed to obtaining from Sangiovese, the only vine grown, elegant wines with a typical character above all of this side of the Montalcino area. The vineyards arise mainly on marly soils and sand-limestone clays. The mild temperatures of the middle hills and the presence of a correct and constant ventilation allow to harvest healthy grapes ready to express their elegance in the path that will transform them into wine. The cellar work is carried out with traditional methods, the alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously triggered by indigenous yeasts and is medium-long (20-25 days).
